Position: Building Superintendent
Location: Downtown Toronto

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Building Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, cleanliness, and general operations of a residential property. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and capable of responding to maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, etc.)

Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, garbage rooms, and outdoor spaces

Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and emergencies

Conduct regular inspections of the building and report major repair needs

Coordinate access for contractors and service providers when required

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and property standards

Assist with move-ins and move-outs as needed

Maintain basic records of maintenance and repairs

Qualifications

Previous experience as a building superintendent or in general maintenance is an asset

Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Basic knowledge of building systems and safety procedures

Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
