CIC Inc. is a COR Certified business, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-time Project Manager to join our team in Winnipeg.

We are seeking a skilled drywall taper to join CIC Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible to applying joint compound, taping, and finishing drywall surfaces including walls and ceilings. In this role, it requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading construction processes and the ability to work of various construction projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Apply joint compound and tape to drywall including seams, corners and joints. Sand and finish drywall surfaces to achieve a smooth appearance.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching, or repairing damaged areas before taping and finishing.
• Assist carpenters with steel stud, drywall, acoustic ceiling grid & tile installation.
• Use hand/power tools safely for surface preparation and finishing.
• Collaborate with other subcontractors to ensure a seamless install.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal throughout the jobsite.
• Follow safety protocols on jobs sites.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience in drywall taping, finishes and other related construction roles.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of construction practices and procedures.
• Strong communication skills.

HOURS OF WORK:
• Monday to Friday 7:00 am. to 4:00 pm.
