Matt has been an integral part of Lynx Ridge since he was 12 years old, evolving from a Junior Member to a dedicated Golf Professional over the past decade. His passion lies in teaching golfers of all ages, emphasizing both the technical aspects of the game and the importance of making golf a fun and enjoyable experience, regardless of individual goals.​

At the start of his professional journey, Matt spent several winters in Phoenix, Arizona, under the mentorship of Warren Schutte, a world-renowned golf instructor. This experience not only enhanced his own competitive skills but also deepened his expertise in high-level golf instruction. Over the years, Matt has conducted thousands of lessons, guiding students to achievements such as securing collegiate golf opportunities in the U.S. and, most importantly, fostering a lifelong love for the game.​

Transitioning his focus from touring to the business side of golf, Matt now dedicates his time year-round at Lynx Ridge, serving both members and guests. He is particularly committed to growing the game by engaging juniors and beginners, ensuring that golf remains accessible and enjoyable for all.
