Position Overview

We're seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our night sanitation crew. This role is ideal for individuals seeking steady employment or a second job with consistent evening hours. No previous experience required – we provide comprehensive training!

Position Details

Location: Calgary NE and SE (personal transportation required – no public transit access)

Schedule: 5 nights per week, 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM (occasional weekends as needed) – Schedule varies depending on facility.

Starting Rate: $19.00/hour

Positions Available: Both full-time and part-time opportunities

What You'll Do

As a vital member of our sanitation team, you'll ensure our facility meets strict food safety standards by:
• Washing, scrubbing, and sanitizing food processing equipment and machinery
• Cleaning production areas, including walls, floors, drains, and ceilings
• Maintaining the cleanliness of utensils, containers, and work surfaces
• Following detailed Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP)
• Operating industrial cleaning equipment, including water spray nozzles and hoses
• Working efficiently in refrigerated and wet environments

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:
• Minimum one year of physical/manual labor experience
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs and handle repetitive motions
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Availability for night shift work
• Reliable personal transportation
• WHIMS & First Aid certificates.
