Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently. This role involves performing repairs, inspections, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and excellent service. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of automotive systems and tools.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair automotive issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Assist with vehicle inspections to identify potential problems before they become major repairs
Work with customers to explain repair needs and provide excellent customer service
Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics for complex repairs
Conduct heavy lifting when necessary to move parts or equipment safely
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders
Skills

Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic.
Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
Experience with vehicle assembly and maintenance procedures
Knowledge of diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting techniques
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a workshop environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
