Hi, I'm Andrew! With over 20 years of playing, studying and composing on the guitar, I've performed everything from indie, rock, progressive rock, funk, and jazz, playing all over Toronto in some of the city's most historic venues.

When I teach, I focus on a balance of theory and feel. You'll learn fundamentals like scales, modes, sight reading, time feel, and harmony, while also tackling your favorite songs to keep lessons fun and motivating.
We'll also work towards helping you learn to structure and improvise solos over chord progressions of varying difficulties.
I work best with beginners and intermediates and bring a calm, patient energy to every lesson. Each session builds on the last so you can make steady progress and truly express yourself on the guitar.
