VUE IT INC is looking for one (1) IT Help Desk Technician to join our Calgary area team! This position is a permanent full-time position located in Rocky View County, Alberta. This position is in the English language and is located onsite at the employer's place of business.

Job duties include:
-Provide IT support via ticketing system, phone, chat, email to determine and document problems experienced by computer users
-Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows/macOS, laptops/desktops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices and support common business apps
-Reproduce, diagnose and resolve technical problems encountered by users
-Perform account administration such as password resets, access requests, and other tasks
-Provide advise and training to users in response to identified difficulties
-Set up, image, and deploy endpoints; maintain inventory and asset records
-Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technicians
-Support Windows Server basics and escalate advanced issues
-Provide business systems, network and internet support to users, assist in onboarding/ offboarding
-Configure basic network settings on endpoints; triage connectivity issues
-Assist with Fortinet-related Teir 1 tasks (VPN user setup, firewall policy checks, troubleshooting)

Education:
-Completion of secondary school education in computer science, computer programming or network administration or related occupation

Compensation:
-$36.00 per hour for 30-40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times earnings at each pay interval

Experience Required:
-1 to 3 years of direct help desk/ IT experience
