We are seeking a reliable and experienced 1A Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating semi truck with superb trailers transporting grain and fertilizer in Melfort and surrounding areas to designated routes. Candidates should possess a strong safety record, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle loads efficiently.
Responsibilities
• Safely operate trucks for the transportation of grain and fertilizer
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, driver logs, and other required documentation
• Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during operations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
• Valid 1A license with a clean driving record
• Experience in hauling grain and fertalizer
• Physical ability to load/unload and perform vehicle inspections as needed
