I have over 25yrs of Nursing Experience. I have worked Longterm Care over the last 10 yrs. I am a Registered Psychiatric Nurse. Looking for a few hours during the day. Experience in all forms of Dementia, Alzheimer's mental health just to name a few. I have Pallative Care training and end of Life. I have great rapport with families. Your choices and decisions are the families I believe. Hard working good communication skills TLR traing. Wound care. Giving your loved one as much independence and care as possible. Cooking tidying up normal ADL for your loved one. Medication delivery. I believe they flourish better mentally and physically in their familiar surroundings.
Many workshops I have attended. Believe that loved ones flourish when lonely, helplessness and boredom are considered when searching for someone to care for your family.
