First Steps Wellness Centre is a non-profit organization that provides Activity Based Therapy for children with Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delays, Spina Bifida, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury & Movement Disorders.

The Intensive Therapy Model is a treatment approach designed to address the motor challenges faced by children with conditions like Cerebral Palsy and other genetic or neurological disorders. This model focuses on delivering therapy with increased frequency and intensity, allowing the body to reach a functional goal and produce a movement correctly in a shorter amount of time (4-12 weeks) than when compared to traditional therapy (12 months).
