Keith Snyder Construction Ltd was established in the 1950’s by Keith Snyder. Our family-owned business has been passed down through the generations. We take pride in our workmanship, experience, and knowledge of the area. We specialize in excavation and haulage, septic systems, aggregates, lot clearing & tree grinding, and water, storm and sewer services.

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with various types of heavy construction equipment and possess strong mechanical skills.

Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders to perform tasks on construction and project sites
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment
• Conduct pre-operation equipment checks and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Operate other equipment as directed
• Complete tasks efficiently and according to project specifications
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic maintenance as needed
• Promptly notify manager of any delivery issues or vehicle breakdowns

Required Qualifications:
• Valid G Driver’s Licence
• Driving record check & CVOR are required upon hiring
• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations

Required Skills & Experience:
• Previous experience working in construction an asset
• Familiarity with various types of heavy equipment
• Strong work ethic, a good attitude and willingness to learn new things
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to details
• Self-motivated & able to prioritize and multitask while working independently
• Lift 50 pounds or more
• Dependable and committed to safety

Job Details:
• Monday to Friday day shifts
• Negotiable rate of pay based on experience
