1.) A Bachelor Cabin which features a 3-piece washroom, a propane furnace and a wood stove. It is approximately 350 square feet.
There are also two other buildings with recreational, work or storage space available. These include an old former school house and an insulated shed.
2.) The former school house is approximately 625 square feet and the insulated shed is approximately 60 square feet. The lot is zoned as residential lot is just under 4/10ths of an acre.
3.) The place is a bit rustic but has served as a great spot for people living or cottaging here in the past. Feel free to check out added pictures.
It is located almost on Sparrow Lake and the Trent Severn River which can be nice for both residential and recreational use. It is about 13 minutes from Orillia & 20 minutes from Gravenhurst. There is also a small utility shed on the property and an outdoor latrine.
Caretaker: A tenant who is able to oversee & take care of the lot would be more suited or preferred if possible. There should be very little work involved. The present month rental fee has been reduced from approximately $1750 to help accommodate for any time that would be invested.
Presently the property is still listed for sale. However, if a great well suited renter comes then I plan to de-list the property & no longer sell. Originally when I received the property (about a year & a half ago) I really wanted to keep the property. However, I have been unsure if I could find a renter who would suit the place well and want to stay here. It would be great to find a renter who would like to stay long-term and one who is a friend -where we could enjoy a great win – win relationship …where we can help each other out in reaching our goals in life.
