Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment critical to our production processes. This role requires a strong mechanical background, electrical knowledge, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals. The Millwright will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance within our facility.

Responsibilities

Install, align, and assemble industrial machinery and equipment according to specifications and schematics
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using analysis skills and diagnostic tools
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for maintenance tracking and troubleshooting
Conduct welding, HVAC repairs, boiler maintenance, and low voltage electrical work as needed
Read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals for accurate repairs and installations
Maintain safety standards by adhering to industry regulations and best practices during all maintenance activities
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing processes
Document all work performed in compliance with company procedures
Requirements

Proven experience as a Millwright or in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience, including low voltage systems
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, CMMS software, HVAC systems, boilers, welding techniques, and industrial electrician practices
Ability to analyze complex problems quickly and develop effective solutions
Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork
Customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
Demonstrated safety awareness with adherence to OSHA or equivalent safety standards
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
