Job duties:

Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products;

Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made, or prepare specifications;

Operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components;

Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products;

Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products;

Maintain clean and safe work environment

Terms of employment:
Permanent, Full-time

Wage:
$37.00 per hour

Hours:
30 hours per week

Skills requirements:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

2 years to less than 3 years experience as Cabinetmaker

Must have familiarity working with woodworking machines such as CNC machinery (ideally 5-Aix SCM models and 3-Axis Biesse models), panel saws, edgebanders, v-groover machines, pressing machines, shapers, planers and jointers

Must have the ability to read technical drawings and measurements
