Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Technician to join our food manufacturing team in Scarborough. The QC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet company quality standards and food safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and knowledge of food safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, etc.).

Conduct inspections and record test results accurately.

Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage standards are maintained.

Report any quality issues or deviations to the Production Supervisor/Manager.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the QC area.

Assist with internal audits and documentation.

Ensure compliance with company policies and CFIA regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous experience in Quality Control within food manufacturing preferred.

Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.

Flexible to work different shifts if required.
