I am looking for a live-in lady, who would have independent accommodation in my mother's house in return for 10-12 hours of cleaning/light cooking etc. per week. My mother's house is located right opposite the Islamic Foundation of Toronto (Markham/Sheppard area in Scarborough), so this could suit a lot of observant Muslim ladies who are studying/working in Toronto (TTC at our doorstep). The work hours would be totally flexible and negotiable, and are not expected to be overly physically straining (normal household vacuuming/cleaning, simple home cooking etc.). We are originally from Karachi (mixed Urdu-speaking Pathan/Punjabi-Kashmiri background) and have been here a few decades now.
