Full time access to a vehicle
Minimum of a non-GDL drivers license

Physical ability to climb up and lift ladders, as well as work outside in the summer

Earning Expectations

Your earnings are based on how quickly you pick up the skill of painting, which is a learning process that frequently turns out to be a lot easier than anticipated for our new hires. 90% of our first-year painters (even those with little to no previous experience) are painting at a near professional level in two weeks due to our intensive hands-on training and encouraging one-on-one coaching.
Our top painters usually make $23-$25 per hour; the average hourly rate across all painters is $20 per hour. A great work ethic and attention to detail will go a long way in making for a successful summer, being promoted, and increasing your wage quickly. Average expected earnings for a painter are $10,000 from May to August, although some of our best team members have made $18,000 by utilizing all of our training resources, improving themselves quickly, taking initiative, and stepping into team leadership roles.
At the start of your employment you will have a meeting with the company owner to determine how much you want to make this summer, and create a plan to give you enough hours to get there.
