Job Title: Respite Support Worker

Location: Hurontario & Eglinton, Mississauga, ON
Service Type: Private Home
Start Date: March 4, 2026
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM (8 hours/week)

Client Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Respite Support Worker to provide care for a 37-year-old male with a verbal developmental delay. The client is largely independent with activities of daily living and resides with his mother, who is the primary caregiver.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide supervision and supportive companionship

Assist with structured activities and engagement

Support light daily routines as needed

Ensure client safety and well-being during care hours

Communicate any concerns or updates appropriately

Requirements:

Experience supporting adults with developmental delays preferred

Patient, empathetic, and dependable

Strong communication skills

Legally eligible to work in Canada

COVID vaccination not required

Additional Information:

No family or agency pre-interview required prior to start

Consistent weekday morning schedule (8 hours/week)
