The RM of Colonsay No 342 has 80,000 raw yards (plus) available of Sand, which we are looking to sell over a two year contract.
Aggregate Study says the sand was generally well graded with traces of silt and clay and could be suitable for use as clean backfill material, bedding sand, concrete sand etc.
In general, the topsoil thickness overlying the aggregate deposits ranged from approximately 50 to 300 mm.
Council is open to tenders until Tuesday March 17, 2026 at 4:30 pm
