**Schedule:** Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
**Pay Rate:** $19.50 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

**Job Overview:**
We are hiring a skilled **Wood Worker / Sander** for a furniture manufacturing environment. The role involves sanding and preparing wood components, working with veneer and plastic laminate, and operating woodworking tools and machinery to produce high-quality furniture parts.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Sand and prepare wood surfaces for finishing
* Cut, shape, and assemble wood, MDF, plywood, and composite materials
* Operate woodworking machines (saws, routers, planers, sanding machines)
* Work with plastic laminate and wood veneer
* Read shop drawings and use measuring tools accurately
* Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards
* Maintain a clean and safe work area

**Requirements:**

* 3–6 years of woodworking / cabinet making experience preferred
* Experience using woodworking tools and machinery
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
* Strong attention to detail and reliability
