Hello! My name is Jestine. I am part of a family of four which include myself, my boyfriend Justin and our two kids, Riley (11) and Paisley (1) who are pictured above to hopefully attract more traffic including the people who are either willing and wanting to help a family in need or have the Nessisary connections and/or advice of where to go for any kind of assistance! The reason I am posting this ad is, simply put, because we have had the one of the most unfortunate last couple of weeks we've ever had the displeasure of experiencing.. It seems to be one terrible thing after the other. The first very serious event (for a lack of a better word) that happened was the very night after my family and I went and did our big monthly grocery shopping spree (which once it was all said and done came up to roughly$400 give or take a few dollars) and after an exhausting day full of shopping with both of the kids, once we returned back home and ate dinner we basically went right to bed much earlier than we normally would. Once we woke up the next day I was extremely disappointed to learn that our very old but devoted fridge that has been here since 2008ish had seen it's final day. And majority of what we had JUST went out and bought for the family that needed to be refrigerated, turned bad overnight. We lost so much food and so we immediately looked into what kind of resources we could apply for go to and while we are beyond grateful for the churches that supply families with much needed nessecities they're only able to help a family of four so many times before the resources they are given can't keep helping just one family and they're needed by many other families in need of course which is 110% understandable and more than appreciated for the help. As of right now (9 days since the fridge let go on us) we have practically used up every single place here in North Bay that helps in situations such as this one. And with a soon to be teenager & a growing and hungry ALL OF THE TIME toddler, were starting to panic a little bit because were unsure of what move to make next. My boyfriend was laid off last year and has been searching for work since the end of the Christmas break with no luck thus far unfortunately. Although he is MORE than willing to do any kind of odd jobs here and there to help make a few dollars to get us through. (If you're looking for a reliable and great worker who is great with handyman jobs throughout the house and also outside as well, if anyone has anymors questions about work experience or what he is capable of doing, please do not hesitate to contact me & ask!)

And then for the ultimate cherry on the top of the cake, our basement of the house has begun to flood. Just getting really bad within the last two days and due to certain circumstances it's completely out of our control right now so we're basically stuck between a literal rock and a hard place. Any kind of savings we did have saved up is long gone now and we're without family to look to for temporary help which is why I am sucking my pride up as much as I possibly can to make this post here because I am extremely nervous of how this may be received. I'm scared that people may get the wrong idea, I'm not making this looking for hand outs, thats not the intention whatsoever. I'm making this post, praying that someone out there sees this and maybe there's a way we can help one another. Everyone needs help every once in a while and right now my family and I are at the end of our rope here. We have no where else to turn and have ultimately used up all of our helping hand places of North Bay. I am wracking my brain trying to figure out how I am going to make sure my daughter has enough diapers left to last until the 20th which I know for a fact there most definitely is not.
