I have some cryptocoryne wendtii tropica aquarium plants for sale. In my experience this variety 'tropica' grows about 6 – 8 inches tall. Cryptocoryne wendtii tropica leaves have a ruffled hammered look and range from brown red-brown. In my opinion 'crypt' is one of the best all round aquarium plants. There are 60-70 varieties of crypt. Although 'tropica' does reproduce and spread it is slow to do that and forms a nice naturalized clump without getting wildly out of control.
