Position Overview
The Technical Safety Division is seeking a Clerk 3 to provide administrative support to the ELA section. This role will assist with daily office operations, records management, and financial documentation while ensuring compliance with established procedures and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support to the Technical Safety Division.
Maintain and update records, files, and documentation.
Review and verify documents for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and assist with financial statements and reports.
Support daily office operations and administrative processes.
Manage office inventory and supplies.
Distribute inter-office mail and maintain document tracking.
Provide guidance and direction to staff when required.
Apply judgment when handling exceptions to standard procedures.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Grade XI education plus four (4) years of related administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong administrative, organizational, and record management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience in government or regulatory administrative roles.
Experience preparing financial documentation or reports.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
