Description
Hello! I have about two years of experience teaching tech to kids in after school programs (still currently doing this), and with about five years of real-world career experience in the past working in the IT industry in various technician jobs. As a new way I want to expand the current scope of my technology education delivery for kids, I'm offering flexible one-on-one tech tutoring for kids.

Location: Flexible (Public library, your home, or my home)
Ages: 7-13
Cost: FREE for the first session! Each session after that would be $20
Time: 1hr in duration, with flexible scheduling that we can discuss, including weekends
Education Areas:
- Introduction to computer programming using visual block-based languages such as Scratch, and making coding a hands-on learning experience through integration with devices such as micro:bits.
- Introduction to computer hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting, using practical hands-on methods such as allowing kids to physically take apart a real computer.
- Minecraft server management, where kids would apply hardware and software configuration skills to learn how to create and manage a self-sustaining Minecraft server for their family and friends to play on (this would be a special type of server that doesn't need a specific Minecraft account tied to it for it to work, which means the server would remain accessible 24/7 for anyone to play on no matter who is or isn't on it at any given time)
- Other: If your child is interested in learning something that I don't have listed, let me know, and depending on what it is I may be able to still teach it to them!

Accommodations: My experience with children includes being an Educational Assistant with the school district, where I have practical experience working with children who need accommodations/modifications because of their learning needs (Autism, ADHD, etc), so I would be happy and able to work with your child even if they need accommodations/modifications.
