This is a 400 year old rare German breed ( Westfalische Totleger ) Death layer hens will lay ( approximately ) an egg a day until she dies. This is phenomenal considering in most chicken breeds, a good laying hen will lay for about 3 - 4 years. The average lifespan of Death Layers are 10-12 years. The perfect breed for preppers and worth their weight in gold.

ZOMBIE CHICKENS
Happy to be offering this new, highly popular breed to our line. Zombie chickens have black skin and white /ashen feathers that give it its creepy zombie like traits. Zombie pullet hatchlings have a faint blue tinted beak, comb and legs. Tint may or may not extend to the toes. Colour expression in the skin, beak and legs increases with age, reaching full expression at about 20 weeks. Adult Zombie hens have ashen gray beaks, combs, wattles, legs and skin. The plumage is largely white, with random black or gray patches. The dark skin is the result of fibromelanism, a trait inherited from their Ayam Cemani sire. They lay light tan eggs and plenty of them!

GRONINGER MEEUWEN, is an extremely attractive rare Dutch breed which was nearly extinct in 1981 with only 26 birds left worldwide. A group of enthusiasts got together and purposely bred these wonderful birds, resulting in more than 200 breeders worldwide today.
