hello! my name is shannon, and i'm an upcoming second year student at the university of toronto. i'm moving into a pet friendly apartment in august, and i'm planning on adopting a cat to keep me company, as i'm quite introverted, but i've wanted a furry friend ever since i was little- my grandparents weren't fond of animals, so my parents would never let me, but now that i'm moving out into my own place, they agreed to trust me with a cat. i can promise to take amazing care of him and show him love unconditionally.

requirements:
- cat should be spayed or neutered, and in good health. as a beginner cat owner, i am not ready to care and spend a large amount of money on consistent vet visits
- preferably a cat around 5-8 years old
- doesn't scratch or bite
- preferably a lap cat/a very affectionate cat
- able to be picked up sometime in AUGUST 2026. i am not able to pick up a cat before i move into my new apartment.
- preferably comes with cat toys/carrier/leftover food

i'm willing to pay up to $100.
