My uncle is in hospital and will not be able to return home—he will be moving into a retirement residence as soon as possible, leaving his cat, Etzio, behind.

Etzio is roughly 9, and truthfully, I cannot even remember if the cat is male or female. I am allergic, so we are unable to take him.

If a home cannot be found, he will have to go to the Humane Society. Etzio has been a loving companion to my uncle for nine years, especially after the loss of his wife, four years ago.
