We are currently hiring 15 Event Staff (Banquet Servers) for an upcoming formal event in Ottawa on April 12, 2026. This is a great opportunity for individuals with hospitality experience who thrive in fast-paced, professional environments.

Location: Ottawa, ON
Date: April 12, 2026
Shift Time: 6:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Positions Available: 15

️ Job Responsibilities
Service:
Execute banquet-style service including plated meals, beverage service, and table clearing
Maintain a quiet, professional, and attentive presence throughout the event
Follow proper service etiquette and ensure timely course delivery
Setup & Event Execution:
Assist with table setup (linens, cutlery, glassware alignment)
Ensure service stations are clean, stocked, and organized
Support smooth transitions between courses and event flow
Standards & Guest Experience:
Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor
Provide excellent customer service and respectful guest interactions
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Clean-Up:
Clear tables promptly and discreetly
Assist with event breakdown and resetting of the space

✅ Requirements
Valid Smart Serve Certification (mandatory)
Previous banquet/server experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, formal environment
Professional, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
