Thank you for your interest in the BERNINA artista 200 Sewing and Embroidery machine! This is a fantastic sewing and embroidery machine with all of the BERNINA’s hallmarks: fantastic stitch precision and quality, as well as a wealth of sewing stitches and features to make your projects come out exactly as you envision them.

The BERNINA artista 200 has over 200 decorative stitches, 20 utility stitches, 20 quilting stitches, 2 darning programs, and 5 buttonholes/eyelets to select from, and also has a wonderful 9mm stitch width for larger monogramming and embellishments. The Free Hand System on the artista 200 allows you to turn and pivot your projects without having to manually lift the foot by using your knee, providing hands-on control of your fabric even while in the middle of sewing. As well, the computer screen shows how your stitches will look in real time as you adjust the stitch length and width using the tactile dials on the front of the machine. This machine also includes the BERNINA Stitch Regulator and a large plexiglass table, which allow you to free motion on larger projects while maintaining the same stitch length.

We include a basic tutorial and check-out to go over the accessories that come with your new machine, as well as teach you how to thread and prepare it for sewing. Also, you’ll be eligible for free New Owner’s classes where you’ll be able to learn everything there is to know about your machine in a classroom setting. The two-day class is a fantastic way for new and experienced sewists alike to get hands-on practice so you can be as comfortable and confident as possible with your new machine!
