About the Role
As a Field Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations on residential and commercial job sites. You will be responsible for leading, supporting, and guiding our siding and roofing crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on supervisory position where attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate siding and roofing crews on multiple job sites across Edmonton and area.
• Conduct regular site visits, including progress reviews, quality control inspections, and final walkthroughs.
• Monitor job site safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and OH&S standards.
• Help identify, resolve and eliminate on-site issues.
• Review upcoming projects weekly to confirm site readiness and communicate scheduling requirements to the office team.
• Conduct on-site toolbox meetings with employees and subcontractors to promote safety and team alignment.
• Maintain accurate jobsite records, reporting progress, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
• Foster strong working relationships with crews, subcontractors, and homeowners to uphold Rom Bros professional reputation.
Qualifications & Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Microsoft Office and computer proficiency
• Minimum 1–2 years of construction experience (supervisory or leadership experience preferred).
• Hands-on knowledge of Vinyl siding, Hardie siding, or Shingle installation is a strong asset.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.
