We are seeking a friendly and skilled Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Work hours are from 5.00 pm to 11.00 pm. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.
This role involves preparing and serving drinks and food in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience with POS systems in Toast will be highly valued.
Duties
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
Able to cook and prepare the orders when required (Simple menu)
The job required multitasking, like handling bar, restaurant, room service, and cooking, cleaning
Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with ordering as needed
Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest behavior and adhering to legal drinking age regulations
Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation policies related to food handling and beverage service
Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or private parties, providing tailored service to guests
Requirements
Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, including restaurant, nightclub, or banquet settings
Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
Experience in fine dining or high-volume venues is preferred but not required
Basic understanding of the food industry, brewing processes, and beverage preparation techniques
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights; previous nightclubbing experience is a plus
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
