Millwork estimator:
Pay: From CA$80,000.00 per year

This role is strictly for experienced commercial / architectural millwork estimators with experience in office building, high-end panelling and restaurants.
If you do not have hands-on millwork estimating experience, please do not apply.
General construction, residential, or junior estimating backgrounds will not be considered.
We are a well-established architectural millwork and commercial interiors company seeking a Senior Millwork Estimator to lead estimating for large-scale commercial interior projects.
This is an in-house, senior-level role requiring deep knowledge of custom millwork, shop drawings, specifications, and pre-construction coordination. You will work closely with Project Managers, Detailers, and Purchasing to deliver accurate, competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the pre-construction and estimating process for commercial millwork projects
Prepare detailed, accurate bids based on drawings, specifications, and scope
Perform quantity takeoffs and scope analysis with a strong focus on millwork
Coordinate pricing with subcontractors and vendors (millwork, metal, glass, etc.)
Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
Review plans, specs, schedules, and potential construction challenges
Participate in pre-construction meetings and budgeting discussions
Work with Purchasing to negotiate material pricing and vendor agreements
Required Experience & Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
7 years of hands-on estimating experience in custom architectural millwork
Proven experience estimating commercial / retail / corporate interior projects
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and millwork drawings
Deep understanding of millwork materials, fabrication methods, and installation
Proficiency with estimating and project management software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable under deadlines
This Role Is NOT For:
General construction estimators
Residential estimators
Junior or assistant estimators
Candidates without direct millwork estimating experience
