We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Forklift Operator to operate powered industrial equipment to move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in support of our warehouse and production operations at our raw meat production facility in Georgetown, ON.

Work Schedule & Environment:
- Work Days: Monday to Saturday
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Cold environment, sometimes working in up to -5°C

Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred)
- Valid forklift certification required; OSHA safety training preferred
- Experience operating multiple types of forklifts and material handling equipment
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution, shipping and receiving, and inventory control processes
Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand, walk, bend, and operate equipment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and safety
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to workplace safety and food safety standards

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment, including reach trucks, order pickers/stock pickers, pallet jacks, sit-down counterbalance forklifts, and stand-on pallet riders
- Load, unload, move, and stage raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods within the warehouse and production areas
- Support shipping and receiving operations by preparing outbound shipments, verifying inbound deliveries, and completing required documentation
- Perform order picking and ensure accurate inventory handling using inventory management or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Conduct pre-shift and routine equipment inspections; report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and assist with basic troubleshooting of equipment when required
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and audits
- Follow all food safety standards, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), sanitation requirements, and company policies
- Participate in warehouse organization and housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including OSHA and company safety protocols
- Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, and quality teams to support daily operations
