Our company operates in two areas: groundskeeping services to residential/commercial properties and installing real estate signs.
Duties:
The groundskeeping maintenance activities of residential/commercial properties include but not limited to:
• Maintenance of grounds including cleanup, mowing and trimming of lawns, trees and shrubs using hand and gas-powered tools including ride on mower, trimmers, pruners and blowers.
The sign installation activities include but not limited to:
• Installation or removal of posts & signage.
Physical Demands:
• Combination of Sitting & Bending - frequent kneeling, squatting, stooping, twisting, crouching.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Majority of work is performed outside in a variety of weather conditions.
Qualifications:
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Clear Criminal Record within the last 6 months.
• Ability to use technology – email, cell phone and basic computer skills.
• Operation and maintenance of power tools, tow a trailer or Safety Training are considered assets.
Conditions of Employment
• This a seasonal position (April to October).
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• English requirement – minimum 50% (read & write).
