We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Low Voltage Alarm Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems, fire alarms, network cabling and IT infrastructure. $31.25 - $35.00 per hour based on experience.
Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in low voltage or a related trade is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and technical curiosity.
• Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Background Check: Ability to provide a clear Criminal Record Check is a requirement for bonding and insurance purposes.
Physical & Environmental Demands
This is a hands-on, physically active role. Candidates must be comfortable with:
• Climbing and working from ladders and at various heights.
• Working in confined spaces, such as attics and crawl spaces.
• Using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Working in different weather conditions (outdoor installations).
Key Responsibilities
• Install and service security panels, sensors, cameras, and low-voltage cabling.
• Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and local building codes.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining system operations to clients.
