Health care aide/Home care- part time

Job Qualification

HCA certification or equivalent/Internationally educated nurses/Nurse student

Previous experience is an asset

A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle preferred

Shift: 2.5/3 hours a day

Availability Requirement: Must be available between 9:00 am to 12:00 pm from Tuesday to Friday

Location: Mill Woods, Edmonton, AB

Date Available: April 1st

Salary – $20.00 an hour

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care service according to the care plan
• Assisting with bed transfer, positioning, movement, stretching and exercise
• Assisting in daily living and personal care
• Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing and dressing
• Assisting with bowel routine
• Providing catheter care and ensuring infection control
• Ensuring patients safety while using walkers, wheelchairs, or scooter
• Providing housekeeping and laundry services
• Driving and accompanying the client for appointments, shopping and pleasure outings
• Pick-up medications and grocery
