Pay Rate: Starting from $25.00 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Quality Control Technician for a food manufacturing facility located in Scarborough. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that food products meet quality and safety standards throughout the production process.
Responsibilities:
Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met
Conduct routine quality checks and record inspection results
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies (HACCP, GMP)
Monitor production processes and report any quality issues
Maintain accurate documentation and quality records
Work closely with the production team to resolve quality concerns
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained
Requirements:
Previous experience in quality control within the food manufacturing industry preferred
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Legally eligible to work in Canada
