JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for experienced and safety-minded individuals to join our team in Innisfil/Newmarket, ON!
Responsible for operating powered equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product. Responsible for checking all inbound products. Ensure products are free of damage and put away safely in designated locations.
Main Responsibilities:
Safety conscious.
Use of counterbalance forklift.
Experience to use walkie and pump truck.
Load, unload, move, ship, receive and stack the products and materials using Forklift or other power equipment
Pull and prepare products for shipment ensuring the exact number and type of products are loaded and shipped.
Optimize loads to ensure warehouse efficiency
Keep appropriate records for load count, stability and product damage
Maintain reports for inventory accuracy and variances as necessary
Adhere to production schedules
Manage entire raw material storage area, maintain proper housekeeping and organisation –5S.
Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Stock organisation – consolidate pallets, plan put aways AND record all transactions on scanner in SAP.
Comply with all OSHA and MSDS and safety standards
Comply with quality control policies and procedures
Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
Complete daily inspection of equipment.
Requirements:-
2 years experience on Counterbalance
Technical aptitude
High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
Full time hours
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when needed
Fluent in English
Effective communication skills and excellent coordination skills
Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. / push / pull
Someone who wants to grow and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math knowledge and computer skills, Excel, SAP
Someone who works well with others (Team player)
Shift- Morning/afternoon/night
Full time- Monday to Friday
