Former Med Student | MCAT Tutor Who Teaches How the Exam Thinks

Description

If you're reading this, chances are you've already done everything you were told to do:
✔️ Read the books
✔️ Watched the lectures
✔️ Memorized equations
✔️ “Finished content”
✔️ Took full-lengths that won't budge

And yet… your score is stuck.

Here's the uncomfortable truth most prep companies won't tell you:

The MCAT is not a content exam.
It's not about how much you know.
It's about how you think under pressure, with unfamiliar passages, experimental data, and incomplete information.
That's why so many smart students fail to see improvement — and why top scorers approach the exam completely differently.

Who I am
I'm a former medical student and MCAT scorer with:
528 on the current MCAT
41 on the old MCAT
8 years of professional teaching experience
300 students taught personally (1:1 and small group)
The majority matriculating into medical school the following year
I've been recruited by major MCAT prep companies, and declined, because I fundamentally disagree with how they teach.

Why most MCAT prep fails (and why it's not your fault)
Big prep companies are built to:
Make you feel productive
Keep you busy
Sell “complete” programs
They overload you with content so you feel like you're improving, while quietly avoiding the hardest part of the MCAT:
passage interpretation, reasoning, and decision-making.

You end up knowing a lot…
but freezing when the passage doesn't look familiar.

How my program is different
I don't lecture.
I don't teach shortcuts.
I don't believe in passive learning.
My curriculum is built on a 70/30 model:
70% application & reasoning
30% targeted theory
Every session focuses on:
How to read passages the way the AAMC writers intend
What information actually matters (and what to ignore)
How top scorers think through questions in real time
How to stay calm and systematic on “killer” passages
Each student gets:
Personalized weekly goals
Monthly timeline checkpoints
Ongoing progress tracking
Heavy exposure to AAMC-style material
Guidance through 35 full-length exams by test day
This is hard work.
But it works.

My students consistently average 520–525 on official AAMC practice exams, not because they memorize more, but because they finally understand the exam.

Who this is for (and who it's not)
This is for you if:
You're plateaued and frustrated
You're tired of spinning your wheels
You want real accountability
You're willing to think, struggle, and improve
This is not for you if:
You want shortcuts
You want motivational lectures
You want to feel busy instead of getting better
Final word
Whether your baseline is high or low, if you bring an active mind and a willingness to work, I will teach you how the MCAT actually works, not the fantasy version sold by big prep companies.

Most students come to me after being disappointed elsewhere.
They leave with clarity, confidence, and real score movement.
