Dental Receptionist

At LethbridgeDentalClinic.com we are a patient-centered dental practice, focused on delivering exceptional care in a welcoming environment. As our team grows, we’re seeking a proficient front desk professional who can help create a positive first impression and ensure smooth daily operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in calling patients and creating appointments by phone.
Qualifications
• Professional Proficiency in English (communication and written)
• Front desk/administrative experience, preferably in healthcare or dental settings
• Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills
• Outgoing, confident, professional, and able to engage in natural, warm conversations
• Strong computer skills; experience with practice management software is a plus
• Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
• Greet patients with a genuine, professional demeanor; manage check-in/check-out and appointment reminders.
• Answer phones clearly, respond to inquiries, and route messages accurately.
• Take primary responsibility for calling patients to schedule, confirm, or reschedule appointments by phone ; create and update appointment entries as needed.
• Verify and collect insurance information; process payments and co-pays
• Maintain a privacy-conscious, organized, and welcoming reception area in compliance with applicable privacy regulations.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks and patient communications as needed.
