Job Overview
General Greenhouse Laborers are essential members of our operation. We would not be able to grow at the scale we do without General Greenhouse Laborers. Greenhouse General laborers are trained with the necessary skills to work safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Placing coco slabs, filling buckets, placing drip hose, rolling out plastic/tarp, planting, tying strings, clipping plants.
• Clipping, twisting, suckering, de-leafing, fruit pruning, lowering the plants, scout for pest & disease, applying biologicals, spraying, checking irrigation, applying fertilizer.
• Rolling up tarp, removing plants, sweeping, cleaning out plant debris, basic maintenance, washing and sanitizing the greenhouse.
• Picking, grading and sorting product, packaging product, box making, stacking, tagging, cart driving, and machine operator.
• Continuous general cleanup inside/outside the greenhouse and warehouse and all related areas.
• Work in compliance of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety, Food Safety, OHSA, and all company policies and procedures
Workplace conditions and requirements:
• Work is physically demanding, fast-paced and climates can vary from warm to cold and can be humid at times.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, bending, crouching, kneeling.
• Ability to work at heights and ability to lift 15-30lbs.
• Hours will fluctuate to reflect ongoing needs of the business – average 40-60 hours per week.
• Flexibility required must be available Monday-Saturday.
• Uniforms are provided by the company through a Vendor and must be always worn as per food safety regulations and requirements. The employee will be responsible for the uniform service fee which starts from $5.42 up to $11.00 depending on the style.
• Education is not a requirement, will train.
