The Role
Nuway Contracting is seeking a high-production, high-quality **Renovation Specialist** specifically for our high-rise rental portfolio. This isn't custom home building—this is the fast-paced world of **suite turnovers and capital improvements.**
We need an expert who understands the unique logistics of working in towers: navigating service elevators, coordinating with building security, and executing full suite remodels within tight vacancy windows. If you can take a "lived-in" unit and flip it to "premium-ready" with speed and precision, you’re who we’re looking for.
### **What You’ll Be Doing**
* **Rapid Suite Turnovers:** Executing full kitchen and bath gut-rehabs, flooring installs (LVP/Laminate), and trim work on a strict schedule.
* **High-Rise Logistics:** Managing material deliveries and debris removal within the constraints of building management rules and elevator bookings.
* **System Knowledge:** Working confidently with high-rise-specific infrastructure, including fan coil units, stack plumbing, and concrete slab constraints.
* **Standardization:** Ensuring every unit meets the "Nuway Standard" for rental durability and modern aesthetics.
### **The Toolkit We’re Looking For**
* **8 Years in Multi-Residential:** You understand the pace of rental renovations and the importance of minimizing disruption to neighboring tenants.
* **Multi-Trade Proficiency:** Expert at cabinetry installs, countertop fitting, vinyl plank flooring, and high-volume painting/patching.
* **Code Savvy:** Firm grasp of fire-stopping requirements and plumbing/electrical standards for multi-unit dwellings.
* **Communication:** Ability to work alongside Building Superintendents and Property Managers professionally.
* **Efficiency:** You have a refined process for getting in, getting out, and leaving a unit "rent-ready."
