About Us: CanLanguage is a highly-rated Professional Test Centre in Calgary for CAEC, IELTS, University of Waterloo, and Athabasca University. We are looking for dedicated instructors to help adult learners achieve their High School Equivalency Credential.

The Role:
• Position: Part-time CAEC Instructor (Math & Science focus)
• Location: Calgary, AB (In-person or Online)
• Pay: $20 - $25 per hour

Note for Applicants: The CAEC is the official national replacement for the former GED in Canada. It provides a reliable way for adults to obtain a High School Equivalency Credential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality instruction for CAEC Math (Number Sense, Algebra, Geometry, Measurement, Statistics & Probability).
• Deliver instruction for CAEC Science (Life Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Earth & Space Science).
• Prepare students for the CAEC test format using practical exam techniques and master class strategies to help them meet their academic and professional goals.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Education: A degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience teaching Math or Science (Grade 10-12 level). Experience with former GED/CAEC programs is a strong asset.
• Communication: Excellent English skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Professionalism: Punctual, reliable, and committed to the high standards of our centre.
