Blinds Concept is a custom window treatment company and Hunter Douglas authorized dealer serving residential and commercial clients across Atlantic Canada. We specialize in custom blinds, shades, shutters, and motorized window solutions. Our Burnside showroom is the hub of our Nova Scotia operations and we take pride in delivering a premium, personalized experience to every client.

THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven, self-managed Showroom Sales Consultant to be the face of our Burnside location. This is a full-time or part-time salaried position for someone who takes ownership, follows through without being reminded, and genuinely enjoys helping people find the right solution for their home.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet and assist walk-in clients in the showroom Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Conduct in-home consultations in the afternoons — present products, take measurements, and close sales
Follow up on all leads and outstanding quotes in a timely manner
Update the client tracking system and submit a daily activity report to management
Manage incoming orders, organize the back shop, and keep the showroom clean and presentable at all times
Collect deposits and payments from clients and process transactions
Coordinate installation schedules with management
Occasional weekend installations available for additional flat-rate pay


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Self-managed — you work independently without daily supervision or hand-holding
Confident, polished communicator who connects easily with homeowners and closes deals
Punctual and consistent — you show up on time, every time
Organized and detail-oriented — you update systems and follow processes without being chased
Experience in home décor, interior design, flooring, furniture, or retail sales is a strong asset
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required for in-home consultations
Comfortable using a tablet, spreadsheets, and basic digital tools
