We are seeking a reliable and professional Shredding Technician / Driver to join our team. This role involves servicing client locations, and transporting goods securely and safely, while providing excellent customer service. Candidates must possess a valid, full driver's license and maintain a clean driving record while operating company cube van. Candidates should have strong communications skills to interact with customers while providing services. We are looking for someone that is mature, reliable and has the understanding of warehouse operations, with the ability to operate machinery (Shredder & Baler). Fork lift experience is an asset.

Duties

Safely operate company vehicles for local or regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of items and bins.
Follow all safety and confientiality procedures
Navigate delivery routes efficiently, planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules.
Assist with moving items within warehouses or storage facilities as needed, utilizing equipment like forklifts when required.
Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times, delays, or issues.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to ensure safety and compliance.
Complete general maintenance and cleaning of workshops and company property
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally during deliveries.
Experience

Prior experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving of cube van is preferred.
Familiarity with moving heavy items safely, operating forklifts, and backing up and hooking up a trailer is an asset.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Must be bondable ( required due to handling confidential materials)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Ability to lift and move boxes/bins regularly
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: CA$18.00-CA$21.00 per hour
