Beautiful German Shorthaired Pointer puppies, with Championship bloodlines, soon ready to go.

Moose and Jessie are proud to present this beautiful litter, born April 13th. Five boys and three girls available. These puppies have beautiful colouring and will make stunning dogs.

Several championship titles on both sides. Both parents on site. Mother is petite, 45 lbs, with a very easy going and sweet disposition. She is registered with the AKC. The sire is 60 lbs, and comes from well established hunting lines, and is registered with the CKC. He is higher energy, but very affectionate. Both sides have great hunting genetics, as well as family oriented dispositions.

We are a family run kennel registered with our municipality and the CKC. We take pride in breeding GSPs and the occasional Lab litter.

Our puppies are exposed to and socialized with our children from day 1. We practice ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) with our pups, to get them used to a variety of sights, sounds, smells, and feelings. This promotes healthy adjustment to new environments and stresses (i.e. the rehoming process).

-----Temperment-----
GSPs are highly intelligent, highly energetic, and highly affectionate dogs! They are historically a working dog, they love to be surrounded by nature, in all terrains and love to search game out and be on a hunt. They have a strong prey drive, and will follow a scent quickly. They make excellent family pets, and do very well with children. Their breed has been nicknamed the "Velcro dog", as they love being around their owners.

-----Height & Weight-----
Adult males will grow to be 23 to 25 inches tall at the shoulder and weigh 55 to 70 pounds.
Females will grow to 21 to 23 inches tall at the shoulder and weigh 45 to 60 pounds.

-----Living Conditions and Exercise----
Perspective buyers should understand that GSPs are high energy dogs that require a fair amount of exercise. Ideally, adult dogs need over 2 hours of high quality exercise every day. They will do well in a variety of housing settings, as long as they are provided with adequate exercise and mental stimulation. GSPs are moderate shedders. They have simple grooming needs, as they have short, smooth coats.

-----Life Expectancy-----
Well cared for dogs should live to 12-14 years.

$1700 HST. If you have a HST number, tax can be claimed and refunded. A $200 non refundable deposit is required to hold a pup. Buyers are welcome to come see the pups after the five week mark, or additional videos/photos can also be sent. Pups will be sold on a non-breeding contract. Once initial deposit is received, an E-receipt will be issued, with full paperwork to follow. Photo updates provided weekly. Pups are ready to go by mid June.
