I am currently seeking to sell my Scarborough/Malvern-based Eco-Friendly Lawn Care business, a sole proprietorship that can enable anyone to be self-employed.

Who is eligible: Those with a moderately professional appearance: i.e. do not reek of marijuana and alcohol, speak with hope and enthusiasm, understand the value of what's offered.

This is divided into two components of value:

Physical assets for lawn care: $2145.76 (Includes lawn mower, weed whipper, pole saw, chain saw.)

Current Client Contacts with Lawn Care services and pricing, and also contacts for equipment repair and maintenance:
$1500. Most of these clients are repeat clients who desire to have their lawns care taken every 2-3 weeks.

For a total of $3645.76.

I am also able to offer training for all lawn care services for a fee of $30/hour, and can turn someone into an expert from scratch in any of these areas:

*Door to door sales, advertisement, and up sells
*Use of standard lawn equipment, provision of strategies for growth and various seasonal services.

Background:

I started this business in 2023, with a manual push-reel lawn mower and some gardening tools. When I started, I was able to learn most of the services quickly enough, but it took me a while to learn the self-confidence required for effective pricing. My service typically entailed not only lawn mowing, but either bagging or raking the grass clippings and also using the weed whipper/trimmer to edge the lawns.

By the grace of God, I was able to grow it quite a lot, and build a clientele. At first, I was doing 2-hour lawns for $30 per lawn, and it was killing me. With help from a close friend, I was able to get prices up by quite a lot, and the sense of how to price the lawns.

Now the business is in a much, much better place. But, I am looking to take a break from running my own business for a while, mostly to free up time to train new skills, improve on sales persuasion, work on my physical fitness and improve my vision for how to run businesses in general with regards to a world rapidly being transformed by technological development.
