Job Title: Meat Packaging & Cutting Associate

Location: Stouffville – Warden Ave, L4A 2V5
Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.60/hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our meat processing team in Stouffville. This role involves working in a slaughterhouse and meat production environment, including packaging, cutting, and handling meat products. Candidates must be comfortable working in a cold, fast-paced setting with raw meat.

Key Responsibilities:
Package, label, and prepare meat products for distribution
Perform basic meat cutting and trimming tasks
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work area
Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures
Handle raw meat products in a hygienic and efficient manner
Assist with general duties within the slaughterhouse as required
Requirements:
Comfortable working in a meat processing/slaughterhouse environment
Ability to work in cold conditions for extended periods
Physically capable of lifting and standing for long hours
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Must have reliable transportation (location not transit-friendly)
Punctual and dependable
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in meat processing, packaging, or food production is an asset (not required)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Work Environment:
Cold storage and production areas
Fast-paced, physically active setting
Exposure to raw meat and strong odors
