About Your Teacher
Hi, I’m Jeongmin (Jamie) Park — a professional violinist, violist, and conductor based in Calgary. My musical training includes studies under Ulrich von Wrochem, former principal violist of La Scala Orchestra (Milan) and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, and Prof. Youngzun Kim, former concertmaster of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.
My performance experience includes:
• Korean Symphony Orchestra & Gyeonggi Philharmonic (guest performer)
• Chuncheon Philharmonic Orchestra (tenured member)
• Carnegie Hall performance with award-winning ensemble Second Moon
• Great Mountains International Music Festival
• Film score & commercial recordings
