1/2 Blue healer/ 1/2 Red Colie

Spike is a one year old neutered male. He is up-to-date on his vaccinations. His mother is one of our best cattle dogs on the farm. We have kept Spikes sister, and she is a phenomenal cattle dog as well. Spike has the herding instinct and wants to work cattle, but has not been trained yet for that. I think he would excel most definitely and becoming a great cattle dog. He’s done a tiny bit when we move cows, but doesn’t know the commands yet. The only downfall with him is that he can’t be around cats or he will kill them. I have lost two of my favourite cats to him and we just don’t have the time to focus and work with him because we have four other dogs that take our time plus our whole ranch life work that takes our time too. He can be a timid dog as well. Picture below is him and his dad. His dad is a blue heeler and the Red Colie is his mother.

We would like him to go to somebody that has cattle and wants to work with him on that because he definitely has the instinct of a working dog.
